Helping people with disabilities find and maintain employment. Sunday ~ March 21, 2010 10:00 - 11:30 am Bridgewater Commons 400 Commons Way ~ Bridgewater, NJ 08807 Info at: http://walkforwork.eventbrite.com/ Form a Team, recruit other Walkers and inspire your team to get Sponsors! Individuals, groups and businesses are encouraged to participate! The Walk For Work is a collaborative fundraiser between Bridges to Employment at Alternatives, Inc., Our House, Inc. and Workforce Connections at Delta Community Supports, Inc. We are three non-profit social service organizations who provide Supported Employment services to people with disabilities in New Jersey. It is our goal to raise money to be able to continue our efforts of helping people with disabilities to obtain and retain competitive employment in their local communities. Through these fundraising efforts, we also strive to raise awareness and provide education about this untapped workforce and the talents and abilities of such a wide range of candidates who wish to be successfully employed. Join us while we enjoy our walk through the mall, (distance walked is determined by the individual walker or team. Route options are provided). Walkers will receive a 'Walk for Work' T-Shirt, refreshments and an Event Book filled with COUPONS for the stores at Bridgewater Commons and other local retailers! Come visit the Easter Bunny, have lunch and shop after the Walk!
